Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! You shouldnt be trying to re-enable it but rather embrace its death. KB4577586 applies to basically all Windows versions, so wouldve removed flash. I've checked my Synaptics settings and scrolling is checked, so I don't know what is causing the scroller to remain unresponsive. 1607 Thats been out of support and missing security updates for like 2 years now. However, the touchpad refuses to scroll and instead when my move my finger where the scroller is on the touchpad, nothing happens. To me, it seems like Synaptics has been re-installed as the red light I mentioned beforehand lights. This happened, and my cursor became very erratic and unresponsive, so I downloaded a replacement driver from the HP pavilion website that corresponded to my system's specifications. Flash Player is being offered as a built-in component on Windows 8. Last evening the Synaptics Driver crashed and usually I can tell when it has stopped working because the red light that goes on when I disable the touchpad (by tapping the small dent in the corner of the touchpad) does not light.
For the people who have flash player on Windows 10, you might as well spare no efforts to update the flash player. Part 4: Enable Windows 10 Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer. In Edge its mandatory to activate Adobe Flash execution.
This issue has been mentioned here, here and here for instance. I've recently ran into some troble with the Synaptics driver for touchpad and I was wondering if anyone could help me. And if here you find the Adobe flash player is not working, manage to update it from the official site and then enable it again for Windows 10. Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703) comes with Flash Player, but Microsoft Edge browser cant use it.
